"Brandy Sahara, Adventure Girl!"
I picked up a Lanard "I-Girl" "Sahara" at Wal-Mart. I don't like the "I-Girl" heads: they're not as cartoony as the "Get Real Girls" they're based on, but they're pretty close. On the other hand, in last year's Christmas Clearance, I picked up a Mattel "Brandy" doll for $3.00 because I liked her head-sculpt -- only to then discover that her skin-tone didn't match any of the AA Janes I had, including an old German AT Jane from the early '80's. Her skin tone matched Sahara. Enter my new, female Adventure Team Member, Brandy Sahara. A happy-go-lucky, fun-loving adventuress, who faces certain doom with a cheery smile and a wisecrack. Her Gun is from the Action Jackson "Covert Operations" guy's briefcase.
