Mike is an experienced professional. Driver, Pilot, Outdoorsman, Athlete, young Mike is a rennaisance man in his own right.
Generally good-humored and eventempered, he's sometimes a little touchy with his father who can be both too protective and too judemental. Mike Junior has earned his place on the team entirely on his own merits, and can sometimes quite rightly resent his father's "noodging." But, as a professional, he deals with it, usually letting it take the form of humorous banter with "the Old Man."
For all that there are tensions, Mike is fiercely proud of his dad, and loves him deeply. He is very much his father's son.
