![]() | The Commander Having recently been recovered from a cryomed holding unit, in which he's been healing since a particularly grievous injury in his days as the AT's Air Adventurer in the 1970's, Joe Singlebury has been promoted to Commander, and tasked with re-activating the long-defunct Adventure Team to face the new challenges of the new millenium. Joe's years in cryomed have left him more limber and co-ordinated than he was in the '70's, but with a sneaking suspicion that he's also a bit shorter. He's a bit overwhelmed by the responsibility of re-making the Adventure Team, but determined to do it right. As the team is as yet understaffed, under-equipped, and underfunded, Joe sometimes has to call on other organizations, such as the Avengers, for help. Sometimes, he's even required to hire subcontractors, such as Boston-Area Private Investigator Spenser. |
But Joe has had some luck rebuilding his own team. He's called Mike Mitchell, Sr. of the original Adventure team, out of retirement, and has recruited his son, Mike Mitchell, Jr as well. Other new recruits are doubtless forthcoming.
