Having recently been recovered from a cryomed holding unit, in which he's been healing since a particularly grievous injury in his days as the AT's Air Adventurer in the 1970's, Joe Singlebury has been promoted to Commander, and tasked with re-activating the long-defunct Adventure Team to face the new challenges of the new millenium.
Joe's years in cryomed have left him more limber and co-ordinated than he was in the '70's, but with a sneaking suspicion that he's also a bit shorter.
He's a bit overwhelmed by the responsibility of re-making the Adventure Team, but determined to do it right.
As the team is as yet understaffed, under-equipped, and underfunded, Joe sometimes has to call on other organizations, such as the Avengers, for help. Sometimes, he's even required to hire subcontractors, such as Boston-Area Private Investigator Spenser.
